Dobinsons King of the Strip 4x4 Drags with SWL Racing Burnout Comp was a wild weekend!

ast Saturday, Beneraby Raceway lit up for the annual Dobinsons King of the strip 4x4 drags.

Jandrè Raubenheimer's "Piss Buss" won the SWL Racing Burnout Comp

Dave and the SWL Racing/ Bendix crew where on site helping out and sponsoring the event. The event had huge crowds and attracted some very fast cars including GSL fabrications 79 series landcruiser "frankenmule" laying down a 8.54 second pass which made it the fastest diesel quartermile in Australia.

Dave (SWL racing) also decided to throw up $500 for the best burnout which was the highlight to end the night and got the crowd really going with Jandrè Raubenheimer taking it out. Other awards went to Nick Hogg from Pigg Motorsport for fastest Petrol Unlimited . Duane Deans for Fastest E.T and Tristan Williams won petrol limited in his v8 LS powered Landcruiser .

The highly popular diesel class was won by Joel McKinlay and Matt walker second. Scott Conley was fastest diesel e.t in his duramax powered patrol. The king of strip is turning into Australia's biggest 4x4 drag meet and is getting bigger and bigger every year. So keep and eye out for dates and catch Dave and Bendix there next year!
