Townsville TCM Round 3 2026

hat a weekend up in sunny Townsville! ☀️🏁

Friday got off to a crazy start when our first session was cancelled because of a bomb threat. Once we finally got on track, we struggled a bit with exit speed out of the corners due to our diff ratio. The boys made a change, we found some much-needed speed, and it paid off—qualifying P8 outright and P1 in class comfortably.

Saturday was a tough one. We were hit with a penalty at the start after I had to move out of my grid box because the cars in front jammed up. I locked the brakes and had nowhere else to go. The officials later admitted the penalty shouldn't have been given, but because it was a judge-of-fact decision, they couldn't reverse it. We crossed the line in P9 but were dropped to P11, which hurt us heading into the afternoon race, where we finished P11 again.

Sunday morning was another P11, but Sunday afternoon was the perfect way to finish the weekend—P5 outright and a Class Win! 🏆 Those results were enough to secure 4th outright for the weekend and take home the Class Win overall.

This weekend had everything, from a bomb threat to penalties, but it was great to finish on a high.
