What a weekend - Jamboree 2024 in Brisbane
e had an awesome time at the Brisbane Jamboree! The car ran flawlessly all weekend, consistently hitting low 11-second passes. We were aiming for that elusive 10-second mark, and I’m confident the car has it in it. Unfortunately, we got knocked out in the top 8, breaking out of our time by just 0.05 seconds. Despite that, it was a fantastic event, and it was great to see the rotor and street car scene so vibrant. We’ll definitely be back next year!\
It was also a pleasure to connect with some of our fantastic partners while we were there. First, we had the chance to chat with SEVEN82MOTORS, the sponsor of our Torana, and even joined their podcast to discuss upcoming races. Next, we visited Method Race Wheels Australia to check out their impressive wheels and showcase the new Methods on the Suzi.
After that, we dropped by All Sorts Mechanical to see their incredibly clean and top-notch workshop—possibly the tidiest mechanical shop I've ever seen! We also took the opportunity to give the Suzi a thorough wash after towing it all around Brisbane from Rocky.
On our way to Willowbank Raceway, we stopped by Tourcraft Canopies and Trays to explore their workshop and check out their fantastic new FJ Cruiser M57 build. It was impressive to see the high-quality trays they produce and how they’re made. We’re looking forward to seeing their Cruiser at Rockynats next year!
Big thanks to the sponsors who got us here.
