SWL Autoworx Skid and Drift Ute out for a play
ere is a recap of the last two weeks of us driving the Autoworx Car Detailing and Mechanical Skid ute. The car is by no means really designed for both - especially drifting but by the end of the day we got the hang off it. A big thanks to Autoworx for letting us thrash there ute and getting me out there behind the wheel. Johnny from Burson Auto Parts for supplying us all the parts to get it going. Matthew Irwin for always giving a hand and riding shot gun all day/night. John Casey for always being there and showing support .. And Tyler Walker for showing us "how you do" and convincing me to get out there and cutting some skids on the tarmac.
In other news for the Patrol, Albins said our gearbox should be done this month, so we will be working on modifying the car and getting it sorted over the last quarter of the year.
With Stadium Super Trucks, Unfortunately due to Covid-19 , Supercars and SST haven't been able to come to an agreement to get out on the track again this year, but we are penciled in for a full season in Australia next year subject to funding!
Talk soon guys
Cheers Dave Casey
